Links to Student Work

This is an unofficial site dedicated to supplying links to the work of Sheridan College animation students. The students are responsible for their own content and how frequently they update it. The links are organized alphabetically for each year of the course.

If you are a Sheridan animation student and want your link included here, please email mark(dot)mayerson(at)sheridanc(dot)on(dot)ca and include your name, what year you're in and the link to your work.

If you are looking for the work of Sheridan alumni or if you are a former Sheridan animation student who would like a listing with the alumni, please go here.

Hi Everyone,

A friend of mine used to attend Sheridan for animation and finished. The reason for this posting is I am looking for someone who is looking for experience and willing to take on a small project. I am desiging a book as a gift, and I am not the best at drawing, I am looking for someone who can draw about 10 small and quick illustrations for the book i am creating. I live in oakville, so it would be very easy to meet up. if you are interested please email me at ameliasubryan@hotmail.com

thanks so much and i really look forward to hearing from one of you!

That’s why the opportunity to do work in a professional environment (no matter how lowly the pay) should never be missed. And if trainee gigs are hard to come by (they are in animation studios these days), the next best thing is to animate your own projects, with whatever means you have, this is pretty much the route I have chosen, 13 years ago when I couldn’t get arrested for an animation job anywhere..

Hey all of the Sheridan Students and Mark. (I dropped by your offices in May)

To everyone else, my name is Marcin Migdal,I'm a graduate of the Bachelor of Design and Post Graduate 3D Animation Program at Sheridan (2004). I've been fortunate to have a successful business in the creative industry (www.activetvnetworks.com, we built schoolism.com and other big websites) and now I've come full circle to promote students across the world.

My team and I run artist communities and publications aimed at promoting artists and animators globally and assisting them in employment opportunities. www.Sketchoholic.com and www.Sketchozine.com. Some of you may have met myself or my guys when we came for the screenings of your films last april or april before that. Some of you have also have been or will be featured in our Sketchozines or Sketchobooks.

Well, We are now nominating films from all of the sheridan classical students for inclusion into our upcoming megabook we're working on "ANIMATION STORIES" Vol8. So far we've got Bon Appetite and many CG Films, including an interview with Dylan Kurp "Little Icarus"

The book features shorts, interviews from animators, studios and oscar nominated directors from around the world and will be available later this year in print.

Feel free to browse the pre production digital version and other books available online at www.sketchoholic.com/flipbook/animationstories and other books in our series www.Sketchozine.com.

As we have a lot of films to screen, it would be great if all of you nominated your favourite film produced at Sheridan and contacted me on Facebook.com/Marcin.Migdal or sign up on Sketchoholic and contact any of my editors. (Yes you can nominate yourself)

I look forward in talking to you all:)

I am a graduate student at York University in music composition. For my thesis I am hoping to write music for a short film. If any of you have a short 5-8 minute animation film put together and would be willing to let me use it for my thesis project I would be incredibly grateful. My plan is to write a few different musical tracks to accompany it and I would be happy to share my work with you when I am done.
The only stipulation I have is that this project needs to be completed already, not currently in progress.

My email is fothmusic@gmail.com.
